3M Filtrete Replacement Filter
$19.19
- 1000 Performance Rating, MERV 11 Rating.
- Up to 30 times more effective at capturing micro particles than ordinary fiberglass filters.
- Meets the American Lung Association's Health House Project indoor air quality guidelines.
- Outperforms all competitors' 3 month, 1" filters.
- Captures:
- Airborne micro particles, including smoke.
- Airborne allergens, including pollen, pet dander, mold and bacteria.
- Large particles like dust and lint.
- Up to 3 months of filtering performance.
- No unnecessary antimicrobial chemicals added. Filtrete filtering material will not support the growth of bacteria, mold, mildew or fungi in normal use.
- AC filters and Merv 11 furnace filters are able to remove mold spores, in addition to pet dander, dust mites debris, lint, dust and pollen in your home's air. Pet dander, mold, secondhand smoke, household cleaning products and more all contribute to dirty air inside your home. The fact that people spend 90% of their time indoors, and that the air inside is often more dirty than the air outside, led the EPA to name Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) as a top five environmental health risk. Change your home air filters regularly to prevent temporary and long-term negative health effects from breathing in dirty air.

APR vs MERV
APR
APR stands for Accumulair Performance Rating. This rating has been established by the manufacturer of the Accumulair Filters. This rating exists to demonstrate the different levels of efficiency throughout the Accumulair filter line. Generally speaking, the higher the APR, the better the filter performs in capturing small airborne particles. This rating system is an internal rating system and applies to Accumulair filters only.
MERV
MERV stands for Minimum Efficiency Reporting Value. It is a number from a test method designed by the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE). The number is intended to help people compare filters. Generally speaking, a higher MERV rating indicates better filter performance.
