Our premium aftermarket Maytag air filters are available in Minimum Efficiency Reporting Value (MERV) 8-15. A higher MERV rating means a stronger filter, which may be needed depending on your home and HVAC unit specifications. For best results, replace your Maytag furnace filter in the winter and summer, or every three months. A dirty and overloaded air filter not only results in breathing dirty air but causes your HVAC unit to operate less efficiently.
